Upcoming volunteer opportunity

Want to help your fellow community members build pride in their neighborhood? The City is hosting our first neighborhood cleanup of 2026 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. We're welcoming volunteers to assist staff and neighbors with tasks like operating the registration table, loading materials into vehicles, moving materials from vehicles to the dumpsters, monitoring the dumpsters, trimming grass and vegetation, etc. If you're interested in helping out, visit the City's Volunteer Opportunities site for details and to submit an application.

General volunteer information

City staff occasionally are in need of assistance with tasks such as outreach, neighborhood cleanups, or hosting community events. If you might be willing to help, we invite you to fill out and submit the form below. Your response will go to the Human Resources Department and will be kept confidential.

Submitting your information does not obligate you to do anything! We'll just add you to a list of people who might be able to help, and we'll contact you if we encounter a situation where you could be of benefit to our community. (Potential volunteers will be asked to undergo a basic background check before they are considered eligible to help.)
