Is there a fee for backflow testers to submit results online?
No, there is no cost to the customer or tester to submit annual test results.
What type of electronic device can I use to submit a test result?
Mobile device, smart phone, or desktop computer. (iPad, Android tablet, iPhone, Android phone, etc.)
Will I receive confirmation that the report was submitted?
After the test results have been submitted, an email will be sent to the tester including a option to download a PDF copy.
Why don’t I see a work order available when I scan the QR code? Or the Work Order Lookup is displaying “no results found”?
Once a passing test report is submitted the work order is closed. Only open work orders are available for submission. Please check with your customer and/or the city to verify if a passing test report has already been submitted.
What if the serial number in the system does not match the assembly I am testing?
You can provide the serial number to Cross Connection by completing the prompted questions in the application and submitting this information. You can also contact the City to verify the assembly in question before proceeding. If the assembly has been replaced, you can proceed with testing but will not be able to submit the results until the City has verified the installed device with our records.
What if the assembly does not have a QR tag?
The device may have been replaced without the City receiving notification. Please notify the City at cccp@wallawallawa.gov to advise the assembly you are testing need a QR tag. The installed device can still be tested but to submit the results the Work Order Lookup will need to be used. You will need the work order ID on your customers mailed notice.
Can I use the number on the QR tag to find or look up a backflow device?
No, not at this time. This is something we are currently exploring as a option in the future.
What if the QR code will not scan or is damaged?
Please contact the city to replace the QR tag. The Work Order Lookup can be used to enter test results. You will need the work order ID on your customers mailed notice.
