Real Talk: What’s on the Mind of Teens is a community Town Hall event designed to listen, learn, and engage with the real experiences of today’s youth. A diverse panel of youth will share their perspectives on mental health, substance use, and youth homelessness in our community. The structured Q&A will be followed by an open discussion, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from teens about what they are seeing, facing, and needing.
Local mental health providers, community-based organizations and service providers will host resource tables to share information about prevention, available support and intervention options for youth and families.
This event welcomes youth, families, educators, and community members who want to better understand and support the well-being of our youth. By centering youth voice, the goal is to enhance understanding, reduce barriers to accessing support, and foster a coordinated community response that promotes safe, healthy, and successful outcomes for all young people.
