2026 - Berney Elementary School

Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry provided students with seedlings for the following tree:

Species: Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry 

Height: 20'    Spread: 15'

Description: The Autumn Brilliance Serviceberry has good form and strong branching. It displays reliable spring bloom and bright fall colors, with star-shaped white flowers in the spring and small round berries in the summer. 

2025 - Green Park Elementary

Parks and Recreation Urban Forestry provided students with seedlings for the following tree:

Tree Information

Species: Armstrong Gold Maple

Height: 40'    Spread: 12'

Description: The Armstrong grows narrow with brighter foliage color, greater foliage density and compact, less leggy growth habit. This growth shape is great for narrow street planting sites.
