The Salary Commission is a five-member board appointed by the Mayor subject to approval by the City Council. It is responsible for setting the salaries of the members of the City Council and Mayor, and reviewing this compensation every three years at a minimum.
No member of the Salary Commission may be an official, officer, or employee of the City of Walla Walla or an immediate family member of an official, officer, or employee of the City. Members must be residents of the City of Walla Walla. Initial appointments will be to staggered terms of one to three years.
